According to Al-Eqtisadiah, SAIP said that the applications submitted to register the trademark in 2022 amounted 37,064 requests.

It has also added that most of the trademarks in 2022 were related to the service of providing food and beverages, and temporary shelter services.

SAIP said that the period of trademark protection is 10 years, noting that it is renewable.

It has stressed that it will not be negligent in holding accountable the violators of laws and regulations in all fields in which it takes care of their rights, noting that it will not condone any violations.

SAIP has also called on citizens and residents to support the efforts of respecting the intellectual property rights through contacting with its official channels.
