Al-Ahmadi: Saudi Arabia's progress demonstrates determination of its youth

Assistant Speaker of the Shoura Council, Dr. Hanan Al-Ahmadi, extended the sincerest congratulations to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and to the noble Saudi people on the occasion of the 92nd National Day.
In her message on the occasion, she said, "This great day represents the 92nd anniversary of the unification of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by the late founder, King Abdul Aziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, after a long struggle that continued for more than thirty-two years during which he established the rules and foundations of good governance in this great country, that adheres to the Holy Qur'an and the Authentic Sunnah, and based on the Shoura approach in the administration of the country's affairs.”

“Therefore, it is a memory of the blessed beginning of the foundation of a modern state that took great strides towards progress and development, guided by the clear insights and wisdom of the late founder of this country, followed by his righteous sons, the Kings of this country, who have continued to walk in his footsteps. This country has continued on this right path during the era of King Salman, and Crown Prince.

She added: "It is a great occasion in which pride is renewed in a country that has given us so much and with a leadership that made remarkable achievements guided by wisdom, decisiveness, will, and hard work. Our country has established a prominent global position and achieved remarkable scores in international ranks in various fields. Legislative reform is one of the important pillars of the Saudi national transformation and the means to achieve the targets of Vision 2030 in all aspects of life, economic, commercial, cultural, social, environmental, educational, etc. The past few years have witnessed the formulation of new regulations, and the amendment of many existing laws, so that the system of legislations serves as the supporting ground for all national development programs and strategies."

She affirmed that the historical legislative reforms that have been achieved have protected rights, established principles of justice, and transparency, and enhanced the competitiveness of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia globally.

She pointed out that the World Bank report for the current year 2022 praises the Saudi economy, and confirms that it is one of the fastest growing economies in the world, and is witnessing a rapid recovery following the COVID pandemic. "These indicators are clear evidence of the success of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in achieving its economic objectives, which pave the way for many other achievements in all other vital sectors. The progress we are witnessing today, demonstrates the potential, creativity and determination among Saudi youth of both genders, guided by the constant encouragement and support from the Crown Prince," Al-Ahmadi said.

She concluded by emphasizing that on National Day, the meanings of loyalty and gratitude "are renewed for a country that gave us a lot to be proud of, and for a visionary leadership that will be engraved in history for its determination and achievement." She prayed to Almighty Allah to protect this country, its leadership, and its people, and to perpetuate the blessing of security, safety and prosperity in our precious country and to celebrate this day with our nation and our leadership in glory and prosperity for many years to come.
