Al Ain Coach Hernan Crespo Eyes Fresh Approach in Asian Champions League Clash with Al Nassr

Al Ain Coach Hernan Crespo Eyes Fresh Approach in Asian Champions League Clash with Al Nassr

Al Ain's Argentine coach, Hernan Crespo, announced on Sunday that his team will adopt a new playing style in their forthcoming match against Saudi Arabia's Al Nassr on Monday in the first leg of the Asian Champions League quarterfinals.
He emphasized that his squad must put forth their best performances to secure a victory.

Al Ain, which advanced to the quarterfinals after defeating Uzbekistan's Nasaf, will visit Al Nassr, a team that recently eliminated their domestic rivals Al Feiha in the second leg on 11th March.

During a press conference prior to tomorrow's game, Crespo stated, "We are obliged to display the best we have. Our focus is always on our team, and we will rely on our offensive style of play."

"You will witness a new style for Al Ain, one that should not be revealed today, of course," he added.

The Argentine coach also noted, "While we conceded three goals in our last match (a 5-3 win over Hatta), we have shown significant improvement in our defensive line in previous games."

However, Al Ain will be without the services of top scorer Laba Kodjo, who sustained a muscular injury during their 1-0 win over Bani Yas on February 25th.

"I am not a doctor, but the reality is that we will miss Laba's efforts against Al Nassr," Crespo said. "We hope he will return strong in the upcoming matches."

Reflecting on the team's journey to the quarterfinals, Crespo remarked, "We deserve to be in this critical stage and we look forward to continuing our track record of robust results."
