Arab Parliament: Awards reflect Saudi keenness to confront climate change

Speaker of the Arab Parliament Adel Bin Abdulrahman Al-Asoumi has praised the winning of the Arab Parliament's awards by Saudi Arabia for the Middle East Green Initiative and the NEOM project, as they are among the most important and prominent initiatives in the Arab countries.
In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Arab Parliament Speaker said that, due to their distinctiveness the NEOM project was awarded as the best project to achieve sustainable development for 2021, and the Middle East Green Initiative was awarded as the best initiative in 2021.

He added that this achievement embodies Saudi Arabia’s keenness to make a global and lasting impact to confront climate change, protect the earth and nature, and contribute strongly and effectively to achieving global goals in this regard.
