The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially notified Egyptian club Zamalek of the cancellation of their match against Guinean side CI Kamsar, which was scheduled for this evening as part of the sixth and final round of the group stage in the Confederation Cup.
Zamalek announced the match cancellation through their official
Facebook page today, Sunday, indicating that CAF would make a final decision on the matter in the coming days.
It is noteworthy that CI Kamsar was unable to reach Cairo due to an aviation crisis.
It's worth mentioning that Zamalek and Al-Ittihad of Libya have already qualified from their group to the quarterfinals of the Confederation Cup.
