Companies’ Law and Tourism Law among over 1,000 documents published in English

Saudi Arabia’s National Competitiveness Center (NCC) has translated and published more than 1,000 business-related legal documents, including the Companies’ Law and the Tourism Law.
This is in cooperation with the Official Translation Division at the Bureau of Experts under the Council of Ministers, and as many as 60 government agencies.

The translation work comes in the implementation of the royal order to translate major laws, rules and regulations, and terms and conditions related to the business sector, with the aim of facilitating and simplifying procedures and enabling local and foreign investors to get access electronically to all information related to economic and business activities in the Kingdom.

Among the most prominent laws and regulations that have been translated from Arabic into English recently are the Companies Law, the Tourism Law, the Small and Medium Enterprises Bank Law, the Judicial Costs Law, the Law of Payments and its Services, the Real Estate Brokerage Law, the Law of Evidence and other laws that have been previously translated and published on the websites of the concerned government agencies, in addition to publishing them on the website of the National Center for Archives and Records.

It is noteworthy that the NCC, in cooperation with various sectors, undertakes many roles aimed at achieving the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030. These include working to improve and develop the competitive environment in the Kingdom, raising the Kingdom’s ranking in relevant global reports and indices, in addition to proposing plans aimed at raising the Kingdom’s competitiveness in various fields.

It also discusses with the relevant government and private agencies to further improve competitiveness, in addition to reviewing and developing the relevant regulations, and proposing the necessary amendments in the laws and regulations, and that are in agreement with the relevant government agencies.
