Emirates Airlines to operate daily A380 flight to Bangalore, next October 30

Emirates plans to operate its flagship A380 aircraft for the first time from October 30 to the Indian city of Bangalore. Kempegowda International Airport in Bangalore is the world’s largest passenger airport.
The use of the Emirates giant aircraft will cater to the strong demand for travel to the southern Indian city of Bengaluru and will allow customers to enjoy its premium services through a vast global network.

Bengaluru will become the second city in India to be served by the Emirates A380 as customers have enjoyed a premium experience on the Dubai/Mumbai route since 2014.

The three-class A380 operates the daily EK568/569 service between Dubai and Bengaluru, which will add critical capacity to meet the huge demand for flights to and from India after the easing of travel restrictions.

This will upgrade the carrier’s two daily services to Bengaluru, “EK564/565” and “EK566/567”, which currently operate in a three-class segment with Boeing 777-200LR and Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

Emirates continues to use its A380 aircraft to meet growing demand on various routes, increasing the capacity of a single aircraft by up to 45 percent over the Boeing 777.

Emirates’ network of A380 aircraft currently covers more than 30 destinations, and the aircraft currently serves more than 130 destinations on six continents.

Emirates began operations to India in 1985 with regular services to Mumbai and Delhi and has operated to Bangalore since 2006.

Emirates currently offers regular flights to nine Indian cities and offers its customers seamless connectivity to its global network via Dubai.
