The attacks came as part of near-daily cross-border fire between Israel and Hezbollah, which was triggered by Palestinian group Hamas' attack on southern Israel on October 7.

Tensions have been high in the region after Iran directly attacked Israel over the weekend in response to a deadly strike on its Damascus consulate.

Hezbollah claimed responsibility for attacking a military reconnaissance center in the Arab-majority village of Arab al-Aramshe in northern Israel, using guided missiles and drones.

The attack was in response to the assassination of Hezbollah fighters in Ain Baal and Shehabiya on Tuesday.

Six people were injured in the strike, and the Israeli army identified and struck the sources of the fire from Lebanon.

On Tuesday, Israel reportedly killed two Hezbollah commanders and an operative in south Lebanon through strikes.

In response, Hezbollah, an Iran-backed group, claimed three of its members were killed and launched rockets into Israel.

Three people were reportedly wounded in Israel from a strike originating from Lebanon.
