GACA to participate in Dubai Airshow 2021

The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) will participate in the Dubai Airshow in the United Arab Emirates, which will be held from Nov. 14-18, 2021. In its huge pavilion, GACA will review its strategy and highlight the investment opportunities available in this sector. This in addition to highlighting Saudi Arabia holding an aviation summit of global significance in 2022.
The participation will introduce GACA’s vision on the strategy to make the civil aviation sector in the Kingdom first in the Middle East by 2030, while also reviewing investment opportunities and an overview of the civil aviation sector projects in the construction, development and improvement of the Kingdom's 29 airports.

It will highlight, the readiness of GACA for the next qualitative stage in the aviation industry after the Kingdom launched the National Strategy for Transport and Logistics Services, which constitutes a major and influential turning point in the civil aviation industry in the Kingdom, thus enhancing air traffic in the region and the world.

GACA’s participation will witness many activities and events and the signing of important agreements in light of the expansion witnessed by the region from establishing and developing airports to obtaining its share of the aviation market.It will also highlight the project of the institutional transformation of airports and its support for the future of the air transport industry in the Kingdom and its contribution to expanding the role of the private sector and attracting investments.

Several entities will participate in the GACA’s pavilion, including the Saudi Academy of Civil Aviation (SACA), the Saudi Civil Aviation Holding Company represented by Riyadh and Dammam Airports Company, Saudi Arabian Airlines, Altanfeethi Company, Saudi Air Navigation Services Company, Prince Sultan Academy of Aviation Sciences, Saudi Airlines Catering Company, Saudi Airlines Real Estate Development Company, Flynas, and Flyadeal.

The exhibition constitutes an important platform for introducing a better view of the latest developments, innovations, emerging technologies, and services related to air transport. This especially in light of the estimates that the number of passengers will double in the coming years, which will makes the air transport industry and airports search for ways to be able to deal effectively with the increasing number of passengers.
