On Saturday, Marouf announced that Israel has been falsely promoting the narrative of improvements in the aid delivery mechanism and an increase in the number of trucks entering Gaza.

In a statement, Marouf highlighted that only between 130 and 150 aid trucks enter the sector daily, totaling 2800 trucks since the beginning of April. He pointed out that the number of trucks that have reached the northern part of the territory since the start of the month did not exceed 327, according to the World Food Programme.

Marouf further stated, "This announcement from the World Food Programme perfectly aligns with our documented statistics, which confirm that the occupation's narrative of improved aid truck numbers along with the United States endorsing this narrative and claiming that about 300 aid trucks enter daily is purely false and a distortion of reality."

He also mentioned that the current daily intake of aid trucks is "roughly 25 percent of what it used to be before the aggression."

While noting that the northern regions of Gaza "are still experiencing a real food crisis and a clear shortage in various supply goods," Marouf explained that "the limited improvement in some goods and materials is due to the entry of merchandise trucks for traders through special coordination and the payment of significant amounts for the coordination of their entry into northern Gaza."
