Hail-Al-Jawf expressway catalyst for trade exchange movement between Saudi Arabia and its neighboring countries 

Hail-Al-Jawf expressway is considered one of the most important highways in the Hail region, as it is the catalyst for the trade exchange movement between Saudi Arabia and its neighboring countries.
The Hail-Al-Jawf expressway has a total length of 340km, as it is surrounded by three lanes in each of its directions.

The road is distinguished as one of the international border roads that connect the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in addition to being considered a gateway for those coming to Saudi or those who want to go to the Levant countries.

Additionally, the road also forms an extension of the Riyadh, Qassim. Hail Road.

The Ministry of Transport and Logistics makes a periodically and regularly efforts and in accordance with the highest and latest international and specifications standards.

Since the start of the road construction, till this day, the ministry has taken great care in the maintenance work, to ensure safety on the road. As it aims in reducing the fatalities rate to 8 death case from every 100.000 cases.

One of the ministry's goals is to improve and praise the life quality of the populations in region, and to reach its national strategic objectives in the logistic transportation services at the roads sector in the Kingdom.

The ministry's strategic also aims to raise Saudi Arabia to the sixth rank over the worldwide level in the road quality index by 2030. And to maintain its global position in the roads network connection index.

The road has contributed to shortening travel distances and to facilitate the movements, as it has attracted the tourists and the Two Holy Mosques visitors from inside and outside the Kingdom.

Meanwhile, the road came as a major factor of the trade exchange between Saudi Arabia and its neighboring Arab states, which enhanced to connect the roads networking in the kingdom, where Saudi Arabia has ranked the top globally according to the World Competitiveness Forum.

It is noteworthy that the Transport and Logistics ministry is keen to raise the Hail-Al-Jawf road quality, and to enhance and praise its connection with the rest of the Kingdom's roads.
