Gaza's Civil Defence agency reported on Monday receiving bodies of 80 unidentified Palestinians from Israel, buried later in a mass grave.

Civil Defence Director Yamen Abu Suleiman said the bodies arrived in 15 bags, each containing more than four individuals, and no names or information were provided about them.

The mass grave was dug near the Turkish cemetery in Khan Yunis, Gaza.

Salwa Karaz, a displaced woman, sought to find her missing son among the bodies.

Hamas criticized Israel for exacerbating families' sufferings by not providing identities with the bodies.

The war, which began on October 7 when Hamas attacked Israel, has resulted in significant casualties and ongoing conflicts.
