KSrelief team meets director general of Palestine Red Crescent Society

A team from Saudi Arabia's King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) held a remote meeting with Marwan Jilani, the Director General of the Palestine Red Crescent Society, to discuss Saudi humanitarian efforts for the Gaza Strip.

The meeting, which also included Dr. Mai Arif from the Palestine Red Crescent Society office in Cairo, focused on the details of Saudi relief initiatives, including food, shelter, and medical supplies being transported to Gaza via air and planned sea bridges.

The KSrelief team outlined that seven Saudi relief planes had already arrived for Gaza's aid. The meeting also covered the specific types of urgent aid needed and the potential projects KSrelief could support in collaboration with the Palestine Red Crescent Society. Discussions revolved around the efficient delivery of Saudi humanitarian relief to Gaza and ensuring it reaches those in need.

Marwan Jilani expressed gratitude to the Saudi government and people for their support in Palestinian crises. KSrelief reaffirmed Saudi Arabia's commitment to alleviating the humanitarian suffering in Gaza.

The team also monitored the progress of relief convoys at the Rafah crossing, ensuring smooth entry into Gaza. This meeting underscores the collaborative efforts to address the humanitarian needs in Gaza.
