'Let's go Aseer' wins an award at prestigious international event
The "Let's go Aseer" film has won the first place in Food Film Menu 2022 for the category of Nominated/Candidate World Regions of Gastronomy MENA Region, the International Institute of Gastronomy, Culture, Arts and Tourism (IGCAT) announced.
The "Let's go Aseer" film was made by (Saudi Tourism or Visit Saudi), which is under the supervision of the Ministry of Tourism.
Created by Nora Al Rayes Production, the short film focuses on Asir Region and shows its beautiful nature and magical culture, as well as the generosity of its people.
IGCAT said through its official account on Twitter platform "Congratulations to the Public's Favorite Nominated, Candidate or Awarded World Regions of Gastronomy Films of the Food Film Menu 2022!" as it has mentioned Saudi Arabia Culinary Commission.
The Culinary Commission commented on IGCAT' mention by saying that "The Saudi culinary culture in Aseer is achieving a global spread".
The Minister of Culture Prince Badr Bin Farhan congratulated the winner. He said that Saudi Arabia's heritage and culture excel in all fields.
It is noteworthy that the International Institute of Gastronomy, Culture, Arts and Tourism (IGCAT) on June, 2022, has announced Asir Region’s victory of the title "World Region of Gastronomy 2024" to become the first non-European region to receive the accolade.
