LuLu's 'Seafood Fest' is catch of the season

With the health-giving properties and heart-healthy values of a seafood-rich diet being well-known, LuLu Group’s flagship Hypermarkets have weighed in with the best catch of fishing fleets around the world.
The ‘LuLu Seafood Fest’ was inaugurated by Musa Al-Kinani - Deputy CEO of the Saudi National Fisheries Development Program at the LuLu Hypermarket, Riyadh Avenue Mall, Murabba, Riyadh on 30th November.

Simultaneously, there was a grand Inauguration of a similar seafood-themed festival at LuLu Hypermarket in Saihat (Eastern Province) by Dr. Abdulsamei Alhawaj, General Service Manager, Saihat Municipality.

The Seafood Festival will run till 6th December at all LuLu stores across KSA. The wide variety of fish from the oceans and rivers of the world are being sold in their prime quality and prepared for customers by the expert fishmongers at LuLu who will cut, clean and de-bone for you, if required.

The fish Include Norwegian Salmon, Nile Perch, everybody’s favorite shrimp, local Sheri and King Fish, plump farmed Prawns, black Seabream, fresh Crab, Cuttlefish, Tilapia, White Pomfret, Baramundi, smoked Salmon, Oyster and many other varieties. There Is also a special section for fish steaks.

"LuLu Hypermarket Is proud to support the local fisheries Industry of Saudi Arabia," said Shehim Mohammed, LuLu Hypermarkets Saudi Arabia Director. "LuLu is the biggest promoter of SAMAQ-certified products, which highlight the products by the national aquaculture product certification and labelling program of the Saudi Aquaculture Society under the guidance of MEWA. This Festival lays special emphasis on Saudi fish and to highlight this, we have seafood paired with special grocery offers and also cooked seafood treats.

Apart from featuring the fresh catch from all over the world, LuLu’s fish counters will also brim with frozen and prepared fish, such as frozen crabsticks, mussel meat, seafood cocktail, smoked herring fish steaks, light meat tuna and much more.

Seafood aficionados can indulge their tastebuds with a host of readily prepared fish delicacies: spicy fish biryani or fish masala, Kadai shrimp, Oriental fish Manchurian in gravy, light meat tuna in garlic and chilly or try local favorites expertly prepared: assorted grilled fish, samak sayadiya or broasted fish strips.
