The Muslim World League (MWL) has condemned the tearing of a copy of the Holy Qur’an by an extremist in The Hague, Netherlands, in one of the most provocative scenarios to the feelings of Muslims all over the world.
In a statement, the MWL Secretary General Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, who is also chairman of Muslims Senior Ulema Commission, reiterated his warning from the risks of hatred-and-anti-Islamic-provocative practices which usually conduce to violence and terror.

He confirmed that such acts would never weaken the faith of Muslims in their religion.

In Jeddah, the secretariat general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) too condemned in the strongest terms the tearing of a copy of the Holy Qur’an by an extremist in The Hague, Netherlands, in one of the most provocative scenarios to the feelings of Muslims all over the world.

Also, the Secretariat General of the Senior Scholars Council has strongly condemned tearing a copy of the Holy Qur’an by an extremist in The Hague, the Netherlands.

The General Secretariat said: "This abhorrent act is condemned and an insult to all Muslims," calling on the whole world to condemn these repeated acts, and enact regulations and legislation that criminalize them to achieve peace, tolerance, and coexistence.

In a statement, the OIC Secretariat General reiterated that such behavior fuels feelings of Islamphobia in the world and works against calls for co-existence and freedom of belief.

OIC underscored the importance of encouraging dialogue, understanding and cooperation among religions, cultures and civilizations and rejection of hatred and extremism to achieve peace and amicability in the world.

In Kuwait, the State of Kuwait ondemned and denounced in the strongest terms the tearing of a copy of the Holy Qur’an by an extremist in The Hague, Netherlands, one more provocative step coming only one day after a blatant similar behavior in Sweden.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated that such behavior agitates feelings of Muslims all over the world, calling on the world community to double their efforts and take responsibility to stop such deliberate insults and repeated acts.

In Doha, the State of Qatar also condemned and denounced in the strongest terms the tearing of a copy of the Holy Qur’an by an extremist in The Hague, Netherlands, confirming that this act fuels the feelings of more than two billion Muslims all over the world.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned from allowing the repetition of such behavior under the pretext of freedom of expression, calling on the world community to double their efforts and take responsibility to stop such deliberate insults and repeated acts.
