National Museum of Saudi Arabia announces visit hours, programs in May

The National Museum of Saudi Arabia has announced the visiting hours after Eid Al-Fitr holiday, where the museum will open its doors for visitors as of May 9.
Visiting hours from Mondays through Wednesdays and on Saturdays will be between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m., and on Fridays between 2 p.m. and 10 p.m., while the museum will be closed on Sundays.

The museum also revealed its programs for May, which were designed in a way that can meet the interests of visitors and offer a rich experience, including the “Design your card” program that will be held between May 9 and June 4.

The program is an interactive activity that provides visitors an opportunity to get acquainted with decorations that were used in old ages and the Islamic decorations before designing their congratulation or gratitude cards with the use of decorations they like.

There is also the “Bookmark” program that grants visitors an opportunity to make bookmarks inspired by various plants that grow in the environment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This is in addition to the “Homeland bounties” program that is an interactive activity that provides visitors an opportunity to know how to utilize the bounties of Saudi Arabia in manufacturing products, where lavender and Saudi coffee are used to manufacture chemical-free natural scrubs.

A musical band will also perform a live show on May 26 between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m.

These programs are part of a series of activities and events that the museum implements to attract those interested in museums and historical information and events and visitors of Riyadh to offer a museum and cultural experience that enriches the visitors of the museum.
