At the beginning of the session, Prince Abdulaziz welcomed the Egyptian minister of interior, hailing the security coordination between the two ministries of interior.

During the session, they discussed ways to enhance security cooperation between the ministries of interior of the two brotherly countries.

The session also witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between the government of Saudi Arabia and the government of Egypt in the field of combating crime.

The session was attended by a number of officials from the two sides.

Earlier, Maj. Gen. Mahmoud arrived in Riyadh on an official visit to the Kingdom. Upon arrival at King Khalid International Airport, he was received by Prince Abdulaziz.

The Egyptian Interior Minister was also received by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Dr. Hisham Bin Abdul Rahman Al-Falih and the Egypt Ambassador Ahmed Farouk Muhammad Tawfiq.
