Prince Fahd lauds remarkable achievements of Tabuk University

Emir of Tabuk Prince Fahd Bin Sultan lauded the remarkable achievements being made by the University of Tabuk in academic and research fields.
The emir made the remarks when he was briefed on the reports detailing the brilliant track record of the university during an audience with the top officials of the university at his emirate office here on Tuesday.

Those who visited Prince Fahd included President of the University of Tabuk Dr. Abdullah Al-Dhiyabi and a number of officials, directors and deputy directors of research centers and chairs at the university.

The emir was briefed on a report about the university’s achievements in the field of research and that included the achievements of the Prince Fahd Bin Sultan Chair for the Study of Youth Issues and their Development.

The report also highlighted the Prince Fahd Bin Sultan Chair for Medical and Biological Research, as well as the Center for Sensor Networks and Cellular Systems, the Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, and the Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Center.

The report also included the ranking of Tabuk University as the 6th locally and among the top 500 universities globally in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2022.

The university also advanced in the Times classification of the best emerging universities in the world that are less than 50 years old, as it ranked third locally and 134 globally.

The emir was also briefed on a report on the program to enhance the university’s national character.

He praised the efforts of the university president and those in charge of research and scientific chairs at the university and their sponsorship and adoption of research and scientific chairs to be used not only for the sons and daughters of the Tabuk region, but also for the sons and daughters of other regions of the Kingdom.

Prince Fahd commended the great efforts being made by the university in the scientific and research fields, as well as its participation in continental and international forums.

The emir also lauded the support, care and interest of the government of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman for education and research centers in all fields to provide everything that contributes to nation building and human development.
