Prince Faisal chairs Arab Ministerial Committee to stop Iranian interference in region

Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan chaired the Arab Ministerial Quartet Committee meeting concerned with following up on developments in the crisis with Iran and ways to address its interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries on Thursday.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 156th session of the Council of the Arab League at the ministerial level at the League headquarters.

The meeting discussed strengthening joint coordination to stop Iranian subversive interference in the region and stop Iran’s financing of the Houthi terrorist militia in Yemen and extremist terrorist groups threatening international peace and security.

The meeting discussed the most prominent developments towards the Iranian nuclear program and the importance of imposing the necessary mechanisms for a rapid and comprehensive inspection of all Iranian nuclear sites and to stop Iranian violations and policies of international laws and norms that destabilize the security and stability of the region and the world.The meeting also touched on the latest developments in the regional and international arenas.

It is noteworthy that the committee’s meeting was held with the participation of the League of Arab States Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Egyptian Foreign Affairs Minister Sameh Shoukry, Bahrain Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani, and UAE’s Minister of State of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Khalifa Shaheen Al-Marar.

Also, Prince Faisal participated in the meeting of the Arab Ministerial Committee concerned with efforts to stop the Israeli measures in the occupied city of Jerusalem. During the meeting, they condemned and denounced the Israeli attacks and measures in Jerusalem and the Israeli aggression against the State of Palestine.

They also discussed strengthening joint action and efforts to stop the Israeli actions and attacks by communicating with the actors to put pressure on the Israeli occupation government.

The meeting of the Arab Committee called on the international community to stand firm in the face of violations by the Israeli occupation forces of international norms and laws.

The meeting of the Arab Committee discussed intensifying the efforts exerted by the international, Islamic, and Arab organizations to stop the Israeli aggression and support the brotherly Palestinian people.
