Prince of Jazan Reviews Preparations for the Launch of the Tactical Exercise "Response 13"
His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, Prince of the Jazan region, welcomed, in his office today, the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Prince of the Jazan region, the Director of the National Center for Environmental Compliance branch, Engineer Rakan bin Mubarak bin Sarhan.
During the reception, His Highness was briefed on the center's preparations to launch the tactical exercise "Response 13", which is set to take place the day after tomorrow, Tuesday. The exercise is conducted in partnership with the maritime business company for environmental services "SEAL" in the Jazan region, with the participation of 45 relevant governmental entities.
His Highness listened to a briefing about the exercise, which aims to maximize the benefit from the best international experiences and share them among all participating entities. It is considered an important part of the work of the National Center for Environmental Compliance, aimed at ensuring readiness and preparedness for emergency situations in accordance with the concerned government plans and programs. This initiative aligns with the national environmental strategy goals within the Vision 2030 of the Kingdom and its targets.
Engineer bin Sarhan also provided an explanation about the roles of the National Center's branch for Environmental Compliance in the region and its training courses offered to relevant entities on how to deal with marine pollution and oil spill control.
