Random Covid-19 tests will be applied on the beaches

After seven months of restrictions to visit the beaches, the Government decided to lift the measure from this Saturday, October 24 and incidentally also ended the quarantine on Sundays.

Israel Cedeño, director of the Metropolitan Health Region, said that on Saturday little presence of people was reported on Veracruz beach, at the same time without major incidents on compliance with sanitary regulations.
In the next few days we will be introducing swab sampling to people who will be coming. We are going to do random tests to detect someone who comes without symptoms, but has positivity, said Cedeño.
The official reiterated that the use of masks is mandatory in these places and that only people should take it off when they go to the beach can take it off.
