The Palestinian health ministry and Red Crescent have reported that six Palestinian men were killed on Tuesday during an Israeli army raid in the northern occupied West Bank village of Kafr Dan.

The Israeli military described the operation as a 'counterterror activity,' resulting in the deaths of four militants and additional injuries.

According to the Palestinian health ministry, the men, aged between 21 and 32, were shot by Israeli forces in the Jenin district.

The Palestinian Red Crescent confirmed the transport of six dead individuals, including at least three from a targeted house.

The Israeli military stated that troops encircled a structure used by Palestinian militants, leading to an exchange of fire, and an Israeli air force helicopter struck the area.

Weapons and a vehicle containing numerous explosives were reportedly found at the site.

The West Bank has seen increasing violence, especially since the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza on October 7.

Since then, over 542 Palestinians in the West Bank have been killed by Israeli troops or settlers, while Palestinian attacks have resulted in the deaths of 14 Israelis, according to official figures.
