Eastern Province Municipality carried out 8,525 inspections of commercial centers and facilities in one week, identifying 453 violations.

As a result, field teams closed 10 commercial outlets for breaching protocols.

Violations included noncompliance with mask-wearing, overcrowding issues and a failure to use the Tawakkalna app effectively.

Baha Municipality also carried out 3,072 inspections of commercial centers and facilities, closing 20 outlets for breaching protocols.

Authorities urged all commercial facilities to abide by regulations to ensure public safety and prevent the spread of the disease.
