Saudi Embassy in Seoul alerts citizens on updated travel procedures in South Korea

The Kingdom’s embassy in Seoul has alerted Saudi nationals on the updated procedures for entry to South Korean territory.
The embassy said Saudis wishing to visit South Korea must enter the K-ETA website: https://www.k-eta.go.kr/portal/apply/index.do or download the K-ETA application and fill in the required data 72 hours before boarding the plane.

Citizens should also log in to the Q-CODE website through: https://covid19.kdca.go.kr/ — and fill in the required data.

The embassy stated that, before traveling to South Korea, citizens must bring a PCR test result issued within 48 hours prior to the date of departure or provide the result of a RAT test (rapid antigen test) issued within 24 hours before the date of departure.

It is necessary for citizens to bring their results in English and to keep it with them during travel, the embassy stressed, adding that citizens should also take a COVID-19 (PCR) examination within a day from the date of arrival on the Korean territory.
