Saudi embassy participates in October breast cancer awareness campaign
In keeping with October’s month-long World Breast Cancer Awareness drive, the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Cyprus was lit up in pink, the symbolic colour with which the campaign reminds women of the importance of preventive examinations and early diagnosis.
Ambassador Khaled M. Alsharif, as well as Embassy staff also participated in “Race for the Cure”, Europe’s biggest sporting event for women’s health, which took place on Sunday, October 31, at the University of Cyprus Sports Centre, under the auspices of Europa Donna.
