Saudi squad continue vigorous training for 3rd round of matches against Mexico

Saudi Arabia’s national squad continued their vigorous training on Monday at their camp residence in Qatar, in preparation for the match against Mexico on Wednesday in the FIFA World Cup 2022. The third and final round of the group stage of the matches will be held at 10.00 pm at Lusail Stadium.
Coach Hervé Renard will hold a press conference at 7:30 pm Tuesday at the Qatar National Convention Center to talk about the match against Mexico.

The national team players conducted their training session at Celine Resort Stadium under the supervision of Coach Hervé Renard. It began with warm-up exercises before they conducted mini-matches to conclude the training session with stretching exercises.

The team will conclude preparations with a training session at 5 pm and it will be open to the media in the first quarter of an hour.

Player Mohamed Kanno was satisfied with remedial exercises accompanied by the physical trainer, while the player Mohammed Al-Breik continued his treatment program accompanied by the medical staff.

A possible victory of the Saudi squad against Mexico in the third round of Group C matches would make the way for the Green Falcons to a vibrant entry to the knockout round of 16 in the World Cup 2022, for the first time after a gap of 28 years, and the chances are bright for such a scenario.

It will raise the Saudi squad’s tally to six points, and the Mexican national team’s balance will remain a single point. Mexico suffered a defeat at the hands of Argentina 2-0 on Saturday before having a draw with Poland in the first round of their match. The Saudi team lost to Poland 2-0 in their second round of matches on Saturday.
