Saudia Cargo collaborates with Trend Micro to bolster cybersecurity resilience

Trend Micro Incorporated (TYO: 4704; TSE: 4704), a global leader in cybersecurity solutions, today announced a strategic partnership with Saudia Cargo, Saudi Arabia’s national air freight carrier, to fortify its cybersecurity resilience through Trend Micro’s products, services, and solutions.
The partnership was formed through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The signing ceremony was held at Leap 2023 in Riyadh and was attended by Ahmad Mohammed Alsalem, Vice President of Business Support Services of Saudia Cargo, Hisham Malakah, Executive Director of Information Technology at Saudia Cargo, Majed Basakran, Director of IT Applications at Saudia Cargo, and Tarek Jammoul, Enterprise Sales Director of Trend Micro.

Ahmad Mohammed Alsalem, Vice President of Business Support Services of Saudia Cargo said, "ensuring the security of our digital assets, customers, and partners is of paramount importance to us. In 2022 alone, Trend Micro solutions detected and blocked over 28 million email threats, prevented nearly 6 million malicious URL victim attacks, and stopped around 14 million malware attacks in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. By joining forces in this strategic partnership, Saudia Cargo and Trend Micro are demonstrating their joint commitment to setting a new standard for cybersecurity excellence.
