The parade, organized by the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong and featuring open-top buses, will start at Hung Hom and tour through Jordan Road, Nathan Road and Canton Road.

The buses will arrive at the junction of Jordan Road and Nathan Road at around 9.40am, and will then proceed along Nathan Road southbound and tour through the section of Canton Road near Harbour City before reaching the finale with a welcome-home ceremony hosted by Chief Executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor and officials at the Xiqu Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui.

A government spokesman said that the best viewing locations for the bus parade will be along Nathan Road and Canton Road, and members of the public are encouraged to show their support at these locations to celebrate the remarkable results the Hong Kong team has attained.

This came after the city recorded its best-ever Olympics performance with a historic total of six medals, which include one gold for fencer Edgar Cheung, two silvers for swimmer Siobhan Haughey and three bronzes for karateka Grace Lau, cyclist Sarah Lee and table tennis players Doo Hoi-kem, Minnie Soo and Lee Ho-ching.
