The effective reproduction number or Rt of COVID-19 in the country has dropped to 0.87, as reflected in the epidemiological report issued by the Ministry of Health of Panama (Minsa).

By regions, Panama Metro marks 0.82 in Rt, Panama Oeste 0.76, Chiriquí 0.85, Darien marks 0.48, while the highest effective reproduction number to date is marked by Herrera with 1.25.
