Men and women over 30 years of age who want to take AstraZeneca doses must register in advance.

Given the large number of men and women aged 30 and over, from circuits 8-7, 8-8 and 8-10 interested in applying the doses of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) informs that it has been decided to extend the vaccination day until June 30.

"The idea is to accelerate the vaccination process, for that reason the extension and probably other vaccination centers will be announced, because the intention is a greater coverage," said the director of the Metropolitan Health Region, Dr. Israel Cedeño.

He stressed that people interested in applying AstraZeneca vaccines on a voluntary basis, register on the page https://vacunas.panamasolidario.gob.pa, since through this registry their entry into the system is guaranteed, which will generate the date, time and place that corresponds to apply your doses.

He reiterated that the vaccination centers enabled in circuits 8-7 the José Agustín Arango School and the República de Chile School, in 8-8 the José Dolores Moscote Institute and in 8-10 the Mega Mall of December 24, which are serving citizens from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm

On the other hand, Cedeño pointed out that regarding the vaccination of foreigners, it is being applied to citizens residing in Panama who have been in the country for more than a year with immigration status, emphasizing that tourism is not being applied in Panama. of vaccine.

He also stressed that during the previous vaccination days of the AstraZeneca doses, no adverse reactions have been reported in citizens.
