CrowdStrike Announces Regional Cloud Expansion Into Saudi Arabia, India and the UAE

Cybersecurity leader to deploy in-country cloud infrastructure under its Global Data Sovereignty initiative
CrowdStrike, the American cybersecurity technology company listed on Nasdaq, has unveiled plans to expand its operations significantly in Saudi Arabia, India and the United Arab Emirates by deploying local cloud infrastructure to meet data sovereignty requirements and bolster regional cyber resilience.

The initiative was announced on January twenty and is part of CrowdStrike’s Global Data Sovereignty strategy, designed to allow organisations in key markets to operate the company’s Falcon platform locally while benefiting from a unified global defence model.

Under the plans, CrowdStrike will establish in-country regional cloud deployments that give customers local data residency without compromising the shared threat intelligence and advanced security capabilities that the platform delivers worldwide.

George Kurtz, CEO and founder of CrowdStrike, emphasised that data sovereignty obligations should not reduce the quality of cyber protection and that the new deployments will strengthen security postures in markets where local regulations increasingly require data to remain within national borders.

The company’s expansion reflects growing demand for advanced cybersecurity solutions as organisations across the Middle East and Asia confront sophisticated cyber threats and seek to comply with emerging regulatory frameworks on privacy and digital trust.

It also builds on CrowdStrike’s broader strategic focus on the region, which includes longstanding investments in India where the company operates a major centre in Pune that supports product development, engineering and customer engagement.

CrowdStrike’s move into local cloud deployment aligns with national cybersecurity priorities, particularly in the Gulf, where governments are accelerating digital transformation and strengthening regulatory frameworks to protect critical infrastructure and commercial ecosystems.

The expansion is also expected to enhance partnerships with local integrators and channel partners, allowing businesses in these markets to access CrowdStrike’s full suite of AI-powered threat detection, endpoint protection and real-time response services without cross-border data transfer concerns.

By adapting its technology to meet sovereign data mandates, CrowdStrike aims to solidify its foothold in these high-growth regions while supporting clients as they navigate increasingly complex cyber risk environments.
