LONDON: The death toll rises as a 15-year-old Palestinian boy succumbs to his injuries caused by Israeli military fire in the occupied West Bank.

Murad Fawzi Abu Seifen's life was cut short after being struck by four rounds during an early morning raid in Ya’bad, west of Jenin on Thursday.

According to reports from the Ramallah-based Ministry of Health, Israeli forces not only denied emergency responders access to the bleeding teenager but also seized his body after he died.

This grim event marks a significant milestone: 56 Palestinians have now been killed and over 200 injured in Jenin since Israel's military campaign began in January.

Adding to the distressing series of events, Israeli authorities have demolished two homes belonging to the Houshieh family in Qatana, occupied East Jerusalem.

meters, housed approximately 20 people and had been under threat for more than a decade due to alleged construction without permits.

The recent demolitions are part of an ongoing Israeli operation targeting homes in Qatana and Qubeiba, the hometowns of two Palestinian gunmen responsible for killing six Israelis in Jerusalem last month.

In October, Israel's demolition campaign intensified in Qatana with 25 operations conducted across 28 sites, including inhabited homes and agricultural facilities.

The scale of destruction is staggering: over 600 homes have been destroyed in Jenin and its refugee camp since January, displacing approximately 22,000 residents.

This alarming trend reflects a broader pattern of forced displacement and home demolition in the region.
