Allegations Against Israeli Fitness Trainer Spark Outrage Following Mia Schem's Release from Hamas Captivity

Mia Schem, an Israeli hostage released from Hamas, alleges she was drugged and raped by a prominent fitness influencer shortly before her wedding.
Mia Schem, an Israeli citizen who was held hostage by Hamas for 50 days, has made serious allegations against Nati Avidan, a well-known fitness influencer.

Schem claims that shortly before her wedding, she was drugged and raped by Avidan, an incident that has ignited significant discussion across social media platforms.

In a televised interview following her release, Schem recounted her harrowing experience in captivity, stating that she felt violated even during her detention, saying that a member of Hamas 'raped her with their eyes'.

Reports indicate that Schem had begun a romantic relationship with a childhood friend, Yinon Hasson, following her release, and was preparing for their wedding when the alleged attack occurred.

Social media users have reported that the incident took place just three days prior to the planned wedding.

The allegations first surfaced on the social media platform X, where independent journalist Daniel Amram shared the information.

He stated that Schem had reached out to the Tel Aviv police and confided in friends about the incident, yet the police have reportedly not issued any comments on the matter.

Public reactions to Amram's post have been mixed, with some users expressing anger and skepticism regarding the allegations.

Critics have accused the journalist of disseminating unverified claims, stating that if the allegations were false, it would be harmful and irresponsible to spread such rumors.

Proponents of Schem have expressed outrage at the alleged attack and concern for her well-being following her ordeal with Hamas.

At this time, no official reports from law enforcement or media outlets have confirmed the details of the incident or the allegations against Avidan.

The situation continues to develop as discussions unfold online, highlighting the broader societal issues connected to Schem's traumatic experience and the subsequent allegations of assault.
