Saudi Arabia's delegation was led by Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah. Kingdom's Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Geneva Ambassador Abdulmohsen Bin Khothaila too attended.

During the forum, Dr. Al Rabeeah affirmed the Kingdom's keenness to support refugees and displaced persons and provide everything that would alleviate their suffering and improve their livelihoods, as it is one of the largest donor countries in the world.

He added that the Kingdom hosts more than one million refugees from Yemen, Syria and the Rohingya, and provided them with job opportunities as well as health, educational and other services free of charge.

It also provided them with excellent and free health care during the coronavirus pandemic, in addition to the contributions it provided for the benefit of the refugees, the displaced people and the communities hosting them around the world.

Dr. Al Rabeeah called on the international community to assume its responsibilities in finding effective and sustainable solutions to the refugee crises, and to support humanitarian and development response efforts in this regard.
