Spokesperson Ahmed Abu Zeid announced that the forum, established in 2009 through a memorandum between the Arab League and Russia, convenes on December 20 and has become a key venue for dialogue and coordination on regional and international issues.
Shoukry will engage in talks with other foreign ministers during the event, focusing on critical matters including the Gaza conflict, with an aim to expedite its resolution.
Morocco, currently presiding over the Arab League's Ministerial Council, is hosting the session by the league's request. The forum convenes Arab ministerial delegations and includes an expanded troika of the Arab League's leadership.
After delays due to
COVID-19 since 2019, the forum reconvenes to resume its diplomatic efforts.
