Ministry of Human Resources, pinamamahalaan ang proteksyon ng bata mula sa pag-abuso sa marketing

Ang Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development ay muling nag-utol sa kahalagahan ng pagprotekta sa mga bata mula sa pag-abuso para sa komersyal na marketing, advertising, at katulad na mga layunin, alinsunod sa Artikulo 3 ng Batas sa Proteksyon ng Bata at sa mga Executive Regulations nito.
Ang sistema ay naglalayong protektahan ang mga bata mula sa mga panganib na nauugnay sa pagkakalantad sa mga malalaking madla, na maaaring negatibong makaapekto sa kanilang mga yugto ng pag-unlad. Ang pagkakalantad sa mga naturang kapaligiran ay maaaring maging sanhi ng stress at pagkabalisa, na hindi angkop para sa kanilang edad at maaaring maging mahina sa bullying sa kanilang mga kapantay. Ang paalala ng ministeryo ay tumutugma sa mga obserbasyon nito ng ilang mga nonprofit na organisasyon na gumagamit ng mga bata sa mga komunikasyon sa marketing para sa mga kampanya sa donasyon ng Ramadan, pati na rin ang iba pang mga inisyatibo sa marketing. Bukod dito, ang mga kamakailang paglabag ay nabanggit na kinasasangkutan ng pag-abuso sa mga bata para sa mga komersyal na layunin, na salungat sa Batas sa Proteksyon ng Bata at ang mga Executive Regulations nito. Samakatuwid, binibigyang diin ng ministeryo na kukuha ito ng ligal na aksyon alinsunod sa Artikulo 3 ng Batas sa Proteksyon ng Bata. Inaanyaya nito ang pampublikong makipag-ugnay sa ministeryo sa pamamagitan ng hotline (19911) o sa pamamagitan ng app ng ministeryo para sa karagdagang komunikasyon.
