Prince of Tabuk Sponsors Annual Charitable Day Celebration and Distributes Developmental Housing Units

The Prince of Tabuk, His Royal Highness Prince Fahad bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, presided over the annual charitable associations gathering "Charitable Day" and honored the associations awarded the Tabuk Award for Philanthropy.
During a ceremony held today, His Royal Highness Prince Fahad bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Prince of the Tabuk region, oversaw the annual Charitable Day event aimed at recognizing the contributions of charitable organizations operating within the region. The celebration commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a visual presentation highlighting the accomplishments of these societies for the year 1445 Hijri. Subsequently, Mr. Mamdouh Al Anzi, the chairman of the Tabuk Charities Council, delivered a speech emphasizing the significant growth and development of the third sector in the region, marked by a series of notable partnerships and initiatives to support civil society organizations. He particularly lauded the role played by the Emirate of the Tabuk region and its Development Unit of the Non-Profit Sector, praising the continuous support and oversight from the Prince of the region on the Council's activities.

The audience, including His Royal Highness, viewed a visual presentation detailing the achievements of the "Renewal" initiative in its first year, followed by a brief presented by the King Khalid Foundation that included results from the initial phase of a study aimed at developing the non-profit sector in Tabuk.

Subsequently, the Prince honored the winners of the Tabuk Award for Philanthropy in its second edition of the year 1445 Hijri, across its four categories: Rawaa Association for Girls in the Quality Initiatives ' section, the Charitable Association for Family Development for Institutional Excellence, King Khalid Charitable Women's Association for Financial Sustainability, and Sakn Association for Family Development in the Empowerment division. Thereafter, His Royal Highness distributed a number of developmental housing units to 292 beneficiaries, praying for these homes to be blessed and for continued success for all.

Furthermore, His Royal Highness received a commemorative shield from the chairman of the Tabuk Charities Council on this occasion. At the end of the event, he stated: "On this blessed day, and in this sacred month, we all aspire, God willing, for reward, forgiveness, and mercy. Our religion, thanks to Allah, encourages acts of charity, and our country was founded upon such acts. Since its establishment, the state has been rooted in benevolence. Under the reign of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God protect him - the foremost supporter of charitable work in the Kingdom, I believe no one has supported philanthropy as he has," highlighting that the Saudi people are inclined towards charitable endeavors. He praised the backing of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for all endeavors that enhance philanthropy, acknowledging the role of the King Khalid Charitable Foundation and its stewards from the children and grandchildren of King Khalid - may God have mercy on him. His Royal Highness noted that the annual King Khalid Award demonstrates the Foundation's commitment to philanthropic work.
