Israeli forces shot and killed a 15-year-old Palestinian, Ashraf Hmedat, in the Aqabat Jabr refugee camp near Jericho on June 1, 2024.

According to Palestinian news agency Wafa, the incident took place during an Israeli raid.

The Israeli army stated that two suspects had thrown petrol bombs toward the Vered Yeriho settlement, putting civilians and property at risk.

The military responded with live fire, confirming hits on the suspects.

The condition of the second suspect remains unclear.
