A Quarter of Children and Pregnant Women in Gaza Clinics Found Malnourished

Doctors Without Borders (MSF) reported on Friday that a quarter of young children and pregnant or breastfeeding women screened at its clinics in Gaza last week were found to be malnourished.
The medical aid group blamed Israel's "policy of starvation" for this situation, stating that Israeli authorities' deliberate use of food as a weapon has reached unprecedented levels.
According to MSF, its staff in Gaza are seeing an increasing number of severely malnourished patients and warn that there is now barely any food available in most parts of the strip.
The organization calls on Israel to allow food and aid supplies into Gaza at scale.
Israeli authorities have accused Hamas of creating a humanitarian crisis in the Palestinian territory, while over 100 aid and rights groups have warned of spreading "mass starvation" in Gaza.
