Giordano Marks 30 Years of Growth in Saudi Arabia with Landmark Celebration

International apparel brand honours its long-standing partnership with Saudi market and reiterates support for Vision 2030
Giordano Saudi Arabia commemorated its 30th anniversary with a gala event celebrating three decades of expansion, local collaboration and brand evolution in the Kingdom.

The celebration brought together loyal customers, mall and retail partners, and long‐serving team members who have contributed to the company’s development since its 1993 entry.

Hani Abdulaziz Saab, chairman of the board of directors at Giordano Saudi Arabia, emphasised the milestone as more than a business achievement, calling it “a partnership with the people of Saudi Arabia”.

He framed the company’s journey as one defined by integrity, teamwork and consistency — values he said were aligned with the Kingdom’s own progress.

Colin Currie, chief executive officer of Giordano International, flew in from the brand’s headquarters in Hong Kong to attend the event.

He remarked that Saudi Arabia “holds a special place in Giordano’s history” and praised the Saudi team’s embodiment of the brand’s philosophy with quality, authenticity and a strong local connection.

Ahmadullah, managing director of Giordano Saudi Arabia, described the anniversary as a tribute to everyone who made the journey possible and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to its founding values of quality, knowledge, innovation, simplicity and service.

He added that the brand would continue to invest in the Kingdom, focusing on elevating the customer experience, developing local talent and strengthening retail partnerships.

The 30-year celebration also underscored Giordano’s alignment with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, highlighting its role in supporting the transformation of the retail sector by providing employment opportunities, nurturing local skills and offering international-standard retailing.

A fashion show that mapped the brand’s evolution from 1993 to 2025 and a video showcasing parallel trajectories of the brand and the Kingdom featured prominently.

By reaching this milestone, Giordano reinforces its leadership in casual apparel retail in the Kingdom and signals its intention to build on decades of presence with renewed focus on innovation, localisation and growth in line with Saudi Arabia’s retail and economic objectives.
