The Health Ministry in Gaza reported that 1,042 individuals have been killed since Israel resumed extensive military strikes on March 18, 2025. This statement was issued on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, and includes the deaths of 41 people in the 24 hours preceding the report.

The ministry stated that the cumulative death toll has reached 50,399 since the onset of the conflict on October 7, 2023. Following a ceasefire that lasted approximately two months, Israel escalated its military operations in Gaza, leading to intensified bombardments and ground assaults.

Since March 18, these renewed military actions have resulted in more than 1,000 Palestinian fatalities.

The Health Ministry did not differentiate between militants and civilians in its reports; however, it indicated that over half of the deceased are women and children.

The ongoing violence continues to draw international attention amid calls for humanitarian assistance and a resolution to the conflict.
