A Hungary-based company, BAC Consulting, faces intense scrutiny following a series of pager attacks targeting Hezbollah in Lebanon.

The blasts, which occurred on Tuesday and Wednesday, killed 37 people and injured approximately 3,000 others.

The pagers were linked to the Taiwanese firm Gold Apollo, which stated that BAC Consulting produced the devices under its brand.

Israeli involvement remains unconfirmed, though a New York Times report suggests BAC Consulting is linked to an Israeli front.

Company CEO Cristiana Barsony-Arcidiacono denies manufacturing the pagers, claiming to be merely an intermediary.

Official documents list BAC Consulting as a management consultancy with a broad range of activities, founded in Budapest in 2010.

The Hungarian government further asserts that the company has no manufacturing operations within Hungary.

Additionally, a Bulgarian company, Norta Global Ltd, has been implicated in facilitating the sale of pagers, warranting investigation by Bulgarian authorities.
