Sharif's remarks came in the wake of reported intense military engagements, where Pakistani military sources indicated that they had shot down five Indian fighter jets, including three French-made Rafales.

The Prime Minister addressed the nation, emphasizing that Pakistan is prepared to respond decisively to the assaults.

'We will avenge every drop of blood spilled.

Military spokesman Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry provided details on the conflict, stating that Indian forces executed airstrikes on nine positions in Pakistan-administered Kashmir overnight, leading to numerous military and civilian casualties.

Chaudhry reiterated Pakistan's position on its right to respond to what he termed Indian aggression.
