Jordanian Field Hospital in Gaza Treats Over 1,000 Patients
The Jordanian Field Hospital 7 in southern Gaza has commenced operations, providing medical and therapeutic services to Palestinians in the territory.
The Jordanian Field Hospital 7 in southern Gaza began accepting patients and delivering medical and therapeutic services as part of a humanitarian mission aimed at supporting Palestinians in the region.
The field hospital's director reported that medical and nursing teams have treated more than 1,000 patients across various specialized clinics operating around the clock to address an array of medical needs.
These clinics include dermatology, orthopedics, pediatrics, maxillofacial surgery, internal medicine, gynecology, neonatal intensive care, and a mobile prosthetic limb support unit.
The facility also offers general surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, and burns treatment.
This week, the hospital team transported 11 trucks of humanitarian aid, relief items, and medical supplies to bolster Gaza's health infrastructure as part of broader efforts by the Jordanian Armed Forces to assist Palestinians.
Since late 2023, Jordan has been actively involved in delivering relief to Gaza, conducting airlift missions among the first countries to do so.
Furthermore, Jordan has partnered with organizations like the World Health Organization, the World Food Programme, and World Central Kitchen to implement food and medical projects aimed at assisting Palestinians in Gaza.
