Iran Rejects Claims of Attacks on Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia and Oman

Tehran says it has not targeted neighboring countries as regional tensions escalate and reports of cross-border strikes circulate.
Iran has denied accusations that it launched attacks against Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia and Oman, as tensions across the Middle East intensify and reports of missile and drone activity spread across multiple countries.

In official statements, Iranian authorities said their military operations are directed solely against specific adversaries and not against neighboring states.

Tehran stressed that it respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of regional countries and has no intention of expanding the conflict beyond its stated targets.

The denial follows claims and reports circulating in several countries that Iranian weapons or aircraft may have crossed into or threatened the airspace of neighboring states.

Governments across the region have heightened security measures, intercepted projectiles and tightened airspace controls as the wider confrontation escalates.

Iranian officials said such reports were inaccurate and warned that misinformation could further inflame an already volatile situation.

They emphasized that Tehran maintains diplomatic communication with several regional governments and continues to advocate for stability across the broader Middle East.

The statements came after regional tensions intensified following military exchanges involving Iran, Israel and the United States.

Several countries across the Gulf and surrounding regions have reported missile interceptions, drone incidents and security alerts as military activity expands across multiple fronts.

Türkiye and Azerbaijan have both raised concerns about potential threats to their airspace and infrastructure, while Gulf states including Saudi Arabia and Oman have strengthened security around key facilities and transport routes.

Iran said its position remains that neighboring countries should not be drawn into the conflict and that it seeks to avoid confrontation with regional partners.

Officials added that Tehran continues to call for diplomatic solutions to prevent the escalation from spreading further across the region.

As governments across the Middle East adjust their security posture and aviation routes amid the rising tension, diplomatic messaging from multiple sides has increasingly focused on containing the conflict and preventing further cross-border incidents.
