Hilton to Launch 450-Room Hotel in Riyadh’s King Abdullah Financial District

Partnership between Hilton and KAFD DMC will introduce flagship property to Saudi business hub
Hilton and the King Abdullah Financial District Development & Management Company (KAFD DMC) have formalised a management contract for a new 450-room hotel within the district in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The agreement was finalised during the ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative in Riyadh, underscoring the project’s prominence.

The upcoming property, to be named Hilton Riyadh King Abdullah Financial District, will enjoy direct access to business and cultural spaces through climate-controlled skywalks and feature seamless connectivity to transport networks including the Riyadh Metro and a future monorail.

The site is situated approximately twenty-five minutes from King Khalid International Airport, providing convenient access for both corporate and leisure travellers.

Facilities will encompass several dining venues including a lobby café, all-day dining and speciality restaurants, as well as a poolside terrace.

Guest amenities will include a fitness centre, health club and approximately nine hundred square metres of meeting space designed for boardrooms and executive events.

KAFD DMC’s board chairman, Saad Abdulaziz Alkroud, stated that the partnership reinforces the district’s ambition to become a global destination for business and leisure, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 infrastructure goals.

Hilton currently operates twenty-one hotels across Saudi Arabia and reports a further eighty-three properties in development.

Hilton’s president and chief executive officer, Chris Nassetta, said the new hotel at KAFD marks an “exciting step” in the company’s growth in the kingdom and reflects the country’s “inspiring future”.

With the establishment of this flagship hotel, the district’s integrated ecosystem of offices, residences, retail and events receives a major hospitality enhancement, further cementing Riyadh’s appeal for global investors and visitors alike.

The hotel’s development timeline has not yet been disclosed, but its signing during a prominent investment forum signals confidence in KAFD’s trajectory as a premium urban destination for high-end business and hospitality activity.
