Hebron: Israel's security service announced on Sunday the arrest of 60 Hamas members and the disruption of a militant network in the occupied West Bank.

The Shin Bet internal security agency stated that they uncovered a 'significant, complex, and large-scale Hamas infrastructure' in Hebron.

This operation involved the dismantling of 10 cells which were allegedly preparing to carry out attacks against Israeli targets.

According to Shin Bet's claims, Hamas leaders were active in recruiting, arming, and training additional operatives for potential shooting and bombing operations.

The agency emphasized that this three-month joint operation with the military and police was their largest investigation in the West Bank in a decade.

As a result, terrorism charges are being filed against the suspects.

No immediate comment was provided by Hamas.
