AlUla Unveils Its First Global Campaign: "Timeless Renewal"
In a significant step that marks the beginning of an exciting journey, AlUla has launched its first global branding campaign entitled "Timeless Renewal".
With a vision centered on presenting the essence of AlUla to the world in a unique way that reflects its spirit from a fresh perspective, the campaign aims to enhance the destination's appeal and attract more visitors from around the globe.
The "Timeless Renewal" campaign goes beyond the conventional concept of marketing tourist destinations, relying on data analytics and targeting nine primary markets worldwide in six different languages across a variety of marketing channels.
The campaign launch includes special events targeting travel industry partners and media in six key cities: Dubai, London, New York, Paris, Shanghai, and Mumbai. The objective is to tell AlUla's captivating story and spark the campaign's excitement.

Aligned with AlUla's vision and comprehensive development plans, the "Timeless Renewal" campaign aspires to transform the destination into a heritage-rich site that meets modern and changing requirements. Through this global initiative, AlUla offers a renewed cultural opportunity, inviting visitors and partners to enjoy its unique and evolving narrative.
The campaign meets the travelers' demands by offering authentic and valuable experiences, with a particular focus on specialized travel sectors, alongside the growing inclination towards eco-friendly travel options.
This concept is firmly rooted in AlUla's Sustainability Charter, which embodies the destination's commitment to balancing economic development and the conservation of its natural and cultural heritage. This is evident in an all-encompassing approach aimed at enhancing the well-being of AlUla residents. As AlUla shines as a leading tourist destination, its development proceeds with sustainable steps prioritizing the local community, including the creation of 38,000 new jobs, a contribution of 120 billion Saudi Riyals (approximately 32 billion US dollars) to the kingdom's GDP, and an increase in population to 130,000 by 2035.
The "Timeless Renewal" campaign is launched with an extraordinary film by renowned French cinematographer Bruno Aveillan, lasting two minutes and thirty seconds, adding an unparalleled cinematic touch. Aveillan returns to AlUla – after his work on the 2021 local campaign film – to present a new perspective with a creative piece that precisely highlights AlUla's essence and aspirations through the pillars of its destination: history, heritage, arts, culture, nature, adventure, and wellness experiences.
The film is available in multiple versions, each with a different duration, and is presented in multiple languages, offering the "Timeless Renewal" campaign to an international audience, going beyond a mere marketing campaign to reflect the true essence of AlUla.
Bruno Aveillan commented, "Every corner of AlUla is a source of inspiration, and I was keen to clearly reflect its essence in the main film of the 'Timeless Renewal' campaign, in addition to embodying the creative and emotional touches that distinguish AlUla and its people, reflecting a unique legacy passed on from generation to generation, with aspirations for its prosperity in the forthcoming chapters of AlUla's journey. Moreover, the campaign includes a series of Pillar Films brand films, each presenting a short video focusing on the destination, and showcasing the diverse experiences AlUla offers. The campaign also highlights AlUla's famous tourist attractions like Hegra, Jabal Ikmah, the Oasis, the Old Town, hot air balloon adventures, Sharaan Nature Reserve, Wadi swimming pool, local crafts, the Elephant Rock, and the vibrant food and beverage sector.
The "Timeless Renewal" campaign also represents the initial steps towards an integrated, multi-channel digital approach, providing customers with a seamless and distinguished experience. AlUla's digital transformation strategy includes a new website and mobile app, along with a marketing approach focused on social media platforms.
