Sabha Mohammed, a 50-year-old displaced resident from Maadan town in Raqqa province, lost many of her belongings as floodwaters washed away her tent situated near the riverbank.
She recounted the early morning onset of the flooding and expressed concerns about her losses.

They strongly advise against swimming in the river, crossing small bridges, or using boats during the flood.
